Linksys E8450 build?
Hello again, Thought I'd ask about this build. I'm curious if there's an Alpha/Beta/Test build I could play with. I had a look through the files https://lantisproject.com/gargoyle_custom/1.15.x_2203_test_builds/ here, but didn't see anything obvious. https://openwrt.org/toh/linksys/e8450 mentions ne...

*exploit* dhcp-games-with-smart-router-devices
https://www.anvilsecure.com/blog/dhcp-games-with-smart-router-devices.html Can we discuss this security vulnerability? I have my ISP modem bridged to my gargoyle router. I have a guest network and a private network setup on the wifi and then another 9 clients wired. I also have a second gargoyle ro...

Re: Router Speed tests
Gargoyle is at DHCP(wired) - with two assigned IPs for servers and QOS is off for both upload and download. I've never bothered with it. BW monitoring is on as you stated by default, mainly so i can see what's happening. It's the whole reason i switched to Gargoyle to begin with :) Device Name:Gargo...

Re: Router Speed tests
Thanks, yeah, I was just going to attempt to future proof my setup for a while if it was possible. much appreciation for the quick replies I'll speed test my routers later today after work. the port is on the lan side, and they say the wan side "will support up to" the same. I doubt it goe...

Re: Router Speed tests
there's a new modem from my ISP purporting a 2.5 Gbps port. I'm running 2 wrt1900ac/s and also manage my daughter's wrt1900ac remotely. as I understand it, they will need an upgrade if I upgrade my modem. Is there a router that supports these speeds and runs gargoyle? I'm happy to make a new post if...

Re: port forward rules not working wrt1900acv2
I ran netstat -pnltu
It shows the server listening on port 27015 only (not 7777).
canyouseeme.org reports:
Error: I could not see your service on x.x.x.x on port (27015) Reason: Connection refused
This is strange

port forward rules not working wrt1900acv2
I recently updated from the image I downloaded and installed in June 2019 to the one released at the end of October. My friends and I stopped playing Rust recently and switched over to ARK SE. I deleted the dedicated server for Rust and installed an ARK dedicated server. canyouseeme.org reports: Err...

Re: Gargoyle on Linksys WRT1900ACS?
It worked when you wait for the power led to come back on again after all the lights flash on then off. powered it off and back on 4x and it went to failsafe (back to linksys firmware) - reflashed without a hitch and going to make sure i configure it as a wireless bridge properly this time.. heh tha...

Re: Gargoyle on Linksys WRT1900ACS?
triple failed boot didn't work either - any other suggestions? Im not sure what LEDE is. Do I have a brand new bricked router? edit: I'm not exactly sure, but it appears there might be a way to ssh into it through the usb/esata port?? Serial Firmware Flash heading implies that... edit2: would connec...
