Accidently deactivated web gui while doing first time setup

Post by skillman623 »

While installing Gargoyle on my router I misconfigured the port for the server during initial setup (I accidentally set the port for ssl to port 80 without disabling the normal non-https port). This results in me being unable to access the web management page, although it does give me an option to save or choose a program for opening. I can still, however, access the router over ssh.
Anyone know a solution to this (instructions on how to reflash the router or regenerate configs maybe)?

I am on Windows 10 although I also have access to a Linux computer if needed.
Thanks in advance.

Do a failsafe reset is your quickest way out of that one.
If you’re not that keen on resetting everything, copy the config out of /rom/etc/config/uhttpd to /etc/config/uhttpd Via ssh and restart the service or restart the router
