Linksys EA6350 v3 wireless bridge

Linksys EA6350 v3 wireless bridge
I have a Linksys EA6350v3 and I have installed the experimental build of gargoyle. I want to set up a wireless bridge setup because I cannot possibly connect ethernet in this location.
I had openwrt on this router previously and had it working with that.
But when I set up gargoyle with the following settings, I cannot get an internet connection. I'm stumped on what to do.
Bridge IP: 192.168.2.1
AP/Gateway IP: 192.168.50.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Wan Ethernet Port: Disable
DNS Servers: Use Gateway As DNS Server
My main wireless router is an asus router that's why the gateway ip is 192.168.50.1
If I select Wan Ethernet Port: Bridge to Lan
and turn off the wireless repeater as well as manually setting dns servers it works.
But for some reason the moment I enable wireless repeater the router no longer obtains an IP from the original router.

Re: Linksys EA6350 v3 wireless bridge
Your problem aside… we don’t build for ipq40xx officially.
So where did you get an image? Is it self built or provided by someone else?
The first thing to check is relayd being installed.

I'll be honest I wasn't paying attention that it wasn't an official build.

this is where I got it from doing a search here on the forum for ea6350 v3.

@wlan0: I presume you're following the Wireless Bridge/Repeater wiki article? If so, please note the caveat regarding "Enforce DHCP assignments".
I will try and replicate this on my EA6350v3 but I don't think I can get to it before next weekend.

Re: Linksys EA6350 v3 wireless bridge
When I choose bridge the first time it seems I no longer have a menu option for DHCP on the left side of the page.
Did I do something incorrectly?

DHCP is disabled in this mode.
If you had enforce dhcp leases set before you changed it to bridge, that would be stuck on and should be rectified.
Have you tried setting a static IP in the bridge ip range and trying to get a log from the device? It generally “just works”

Re: Linksys EA6350 v3 wireless bridge
I did a reset and made sure Enforce DHCP assignments is unticked.
It seems to pass DNS requests to the main router now on its own. However. It still loses the relay IP if I have wifi repeating enabled.
I have a static IP defined for it on the main router.
It should always assign 192.168.50.3 as the relay IP.
but changing to "repeater enabled" it no longer works, and the Relay IP is blank.

If you use wireless DHCP I assume everything works (just on the wrong subnets)?

Re: Linksys EA6350 v3 wireless bridge
I have no idea what is going on with it all I know is that if I switch it to "Repeater Enabled"
Everything stops working and on the Status page under "Bridge" Relay IP Address: is blank.
Normally it says 192.168.50.3
If I leave "Repeater Disabled" it works and it says Relay IP Address: 192.168.50.3
The same thing also happens if I don't change Wan Ethernet Port to Bridge To LAN.
I can post pictures of the settings pages and stuff if it would help.
I am currently running an ethernet cable to my PC from this router. But it would be nice to be able to connect my phone and TV via wireless.

Re: Linksys EA6350 v3 wireless bridge
Ok i'm following a bit better now sorry.
Forget the WAN Ethernet Port bridging for the moment, lets focus on the repeater.
What band (2.4/5GHz and channel is your upstream network broadcasting on?
